Q8 Italia Secures Agriferr and ArMa Acquisition for Biogas Expansion

Q8 Italia, the Italian division of Kuwait Petroleum International, has signed a preliminary purchase agreement to acquire 100% of Agriferr and ArMa. These companies are involved in biogas, biomethane, and BioLNG production. LCA Studio Legale assisted Q8 Italia with the transaction, working in coordination with various teams within Q8. The acquisition will enable Q8 Italia to integrate biogas production into its operations and expand its renewable energy portfolio. The sellers were represented by Andrea Daconto of Ferroni Bazzola Daconto law firm. Agriferr owns a BioLNG production plant and will convert it for biomethane production, while ArMa operates a biogas plant also slated for conversion. This strategic acquisition allows Q8 Italia to distribute the produced biomethane and BioLNG across its network of over 2,800 facilities throughout Italy.
