Procast Group Expands with JC+P Acquisition

Procast Group, a Hamilton-based construction company, has announced its acquisition of Glasgow's JC+P Property and Construction Consultants to enhance its expertise and fuel growth. This six-figure acquisition enables Procast to integrate building surveying and cost consultancy services into its existing operations, rounding out its already diverse business divisions. JC+P, which boasts a turnover of £640,000 and specializes in private developments, commercial property, and education, aligns with Procast’s strategic objectives, notably in retrofitting and multi-trade contracting. The move will see JC+P’s six employees relocate to Procast’s headquarters by 2025, with JC+P's Gordon Ross assuming the role of Managing Director. Both Procast and JC+P's leadership express enthusiasm over the synergies that the merger will bring as they combine their efforts to cater to housing associations and local authorities. Derek Innes, Procast’s owner, highlights that the acquisition is key to delivering enhanced services and augmenting Procast's offerings in harder-to-treat properties.
