Prime Label Acquires I.P.P.U. Packaging, Expanding Romanian Presence

Stratulat Albulescu has advised Prime Label Group in its acquisition of I.P.P.U. Packaging, furthering its grip in the Central and Eastern European market. This acquisition elevates Prime Label to the third-largest label manufacturer in Romania, enhancing their production capabilities for self-adhesive labels, shrink sleeves, and flexible packaging solutions, with a particular focus on serving industries such as wine, spirits, and cosmetics. Prime Label Group, founded in 2019, strategically seeks to expand its range of offerings, while I.P.P.U. Packaging, a company established in 1994 in Iasi, Romania, brings significant local expertise and specialization in high-quality self-adhesive labels. Managing Partner Silviu Stratulat and Counsel Raluca Gabor of Stratulat Albulescu played key roles in advising this transaction. This move follows Prime Label's 2024 acquisition of Grafoprint, showcasing their ongoing strategy to expand through acquisitions.
