Pozzaglio: CDI Global Facilitates 100% Acquisition by Italian Holding

CDI Global Italy played a pivotal role in the acquisition of Pozzaglio Biometano Societ Agricola, a company in Italy's renewable energy sector. This transaction involved the sale of 100% of Pozzaglio Biometano's shares to an Italian holding company controlled by an international infrastructure fund. The acquisition was advised by CDI Global Italy's team, with partner Michele Positano leading the advisory for the sellers. Pozzaglio Biometano holds a ready-to-build authorization for a 500 sm3/hour agricultural biomethane plant, developed by Geo Studio Engineering, slated to connect to the Snam network. Notably, the same holding had earlier acquired another ready-to-build project developed by Geo Studio in December 2024. Cesare Tocchio, managing partner of CDI Global Italy, positioned this deal within the broader M&A strategy focusing on renewable energies, including mandates for biogas and photovoltaic plants, as well as financing renewable energy communities.
