Positive Development Expands Autism Therapy Model with $51.5M Funding

Positive Development, a leader in developmental therapy for autistic children, has successfully raised $51.5 million in a Series C funding round. New investor aMoon co-led the funding alongside existing backers B Capital and Flare Capital Partners, with continued investments from Digitalis Ventures and others. This funding will be utilized to expand Positive Development's Developmental Relationship-Based Interventions (DRBI) model, which integrates speech, occupational, and mental health therapies. The model offers a lower-cost alternative to traditional Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapies, aligning with healthcare systems' desires for affordable and effective autism care. Positive Development's approach not only delivers measurable outcomes with fewer hours but also maintains extensive partnerships with payers and Medicaid programs, setting a new standard in autism care.
