Polus Celebrates €425 Million Initial Close for CLO Equity Fund

Polus Capital Management, an investment management firm known for alternative credit strategies, has announced the initial closing of its third CLO equity fund, Polus Loan Investments III (PLI III), with commitments amounting to €425 million. This substantial capital raise marks one of the largest CLO equity capital collections in Europe to date, bolstering Polus' prominence in the global leveraged credit industry. PLI III aims to invest primarily in equity tranches of CLOs managed by Polus and in other credit opportunities. Since the inception of its CLO management division in 2006, Polus has raised around $12.7 billion globally, with PLI III setting a new milestone for the firm. Additionally, Polus' reputation extends to the U.S., where it recently established its first CLO. The company relies on its experienced Leveraged Credit team, which boasts nearly two decades of expertise.
