Polifarma Completes Acquisition of Hennig Arzneimittel

Polifarma, an Italian pharmaceutical company, has successfully acquired Hennig Arzneimittel, a German company with over 120 years of experience in drug development and manufacturing. EY Law Germany and EY STS Italy acted as legal advisors for Polifarma, tackling corporate legalities in both Germany and Italy. They also managed negotiations for the financing agreement facilitated by Banca Patrimoni Sella. Meanwhile, Deloitte Financial Advisory provided financial advisement and conducted due diligence for Polifarma. This acquisition aligns with Polifarma's strategic goals to enhance its pharmaceutical offerings, particularly regarding treatments for balance disorders, pain, and cardiovascular, metabolic, and neurological conditions. Hennig Arzneimittel also includes services for contract manufacturing and technology transfer for oral solid dosage forms.
