Planet First Partners (PFP), a sustainable investment platform committed to scaling growth-stage companies with environmental and societal impacts, has announced an investment in Quantonation II. This is the second fund managed by Quantonation Ventures, renowned for its dedication to quantum technologies and deep physics. The investment signifies a continued partnership following PFP's earlier investment in Quantonation I, with a shared vision of utilizing quantum technology for impactful innovations. According to Nathan Medlock, PFP's Managing Partner, the focus is on employing quantum advancements to address systems-level challenges in climate, health, and resource management. Christophe Jurczak, Managing Partner at Quantonation, expressed pride in furthering the collaboration, emphasizing support for quantum startups to drive sector leadership and global impact. Since its inception in 2018, Quantonation has pioneered early-stage venture funding exclusively in quantum technologies. It invests globally, supporting companies from pre-seed to Series B stages, boasting a portfolio with leaders in quantum computing and associated fields. Notably, Quantonation organized the Alain Aspect Symposium, further solidifying its standing. This strategic investment by PFP aims to leverage frontier technology access to augment its later-stage growth strategy, propelling tech breakthroughs for decarbonization, clean chemistry, carbon capture, and precision agriculture.
