Pictet: Pedro González Grau Named Director of Pictet Wealth Management Europe

Pictet Wealth Management has announced a key leadership change with the appointment of Pedro González Grau as the Director for Europe. González Grau, who joined Pictet in 2022 and is currently serving as the CEO of Pictet Wealth Management Iberia, will retain his current role until the end of 2024, before fully transitioning to his new position. He possesses extensive experience in wealth management, having held various senior roles, including at Goldman Sachs and MoraBanc. His appointment is pending regulatory confirmation. Meanwhile, Enrique Sendagorta Carsi, who has been with Pictet since 2011, will take over González Grau’s responsibilities in Iberia starting January 2025. Sendagorta, with an impressive 23-year tenure in private banking, has served in prominent capacities at BSI Spain Wealth and Asset Management, Deutsche Bank, and Bank of America. Both appointments reflect Pictet's strategy to enhance its presence and growth in the European and Iberian markets. González Grau will now oversee Pictet Wealth Management's operations across major European markets including Spain, the broader Eurozone, the UK, and Monaco. Both executives express optimism for economic growth and the future opportunities that await Pictet in the region.
