Koninklijke Philips NV has announced the appointment of Jie Xue as the Chief Business Leader for Precision Diagnosis and co-leader of the Diagnosis & Treatment segment. Xue, joining from GE Healthcare, will bring her extensive medtech expertise and global leadership experience to Philips. Alongside Xue, Philips has also appointed Özlem Fidanci as Chief of the International Region, succeeding Edwin Paalvast, who is set to retire after a notable career spanning more than 35 years. Fidanci, who returns to Philips with experience in both private and public healthcare sectors, aims to reinforce Philips' presence in mature and emerging markets.
