U.S.-based Parsons has been awarded the role of Project Management Consultant for the Dubai Metro's Blue Line project, as announced on Tuesday by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). The five-year contract involves full-scale project management services for the 30-kilometer line, which will feature 14 stations and enhance connectivity across major Dubai districts, including Mirdif, Dubai Silicon Oasis, and Dubai Festival City. Expected to start operations by 2029, the line will support Dubai's 2040 Urban Master Plan and accommodate up to 320,000 passengers daily. Parsons' involvement extends its already significant contributions to Dubai's infrastructure, having worked on the Red and Green Lines, Route 2020, and other key projects.
