The funding round was led by Durable Capital Partners, Altimeter Capital, and General Catalyst, with participation from EQT Ventures, RPT Capital, Senovo, and Mosaic Ventures. General Catalyst was advised by Taylor Wessing on the legal facets of the transaction, with a team headed by Dr. Norman Rchert in Berlin. Parloa specializes in AI-powered customer service solutions and has quadrupled its revenue by launching the AI Agent Management Platform. The platform is designed to modernize customer service, particularly benefiting sectors such as e-commerce, financial services, and travel. Meanwhile, General Catalyst is recognized globally for backing transformative and resilient ventures like Airbnb and Stripe, with operational bases across the world.
