Park Systems Corp. Acquires Lyncée Tec SA to Boost Metrology Offerings

Park Systems Corp., a leader in nanometrology solutions, has announced the acquisition of Lyncée Tec SA, a Swiss developer of Digital Holographic Microscope (DHM) technology. Through this acquisition, Park Systems intends to strengthen its optical metrology business, especially enhancing solutions for semiconductor processes. Founded in 2003 by researchers at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, Lyncée Tec has been recognized for its pioneering role in holographic imaging technology. The integration of Lyncée Tec’s DHM technology into Park Systems’ Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) platform signifies a crucial step for Park Systems towards offering comprehensive solutions for advanced semiconductor applications. The acquisition follows Park Systems’ earlier purchase of Accurion GmbH in 2022, further consolidating its standing within the industry. This strategic acquisition will enable Park Systems to combine their expertise in AFM and DHM technology, thereby redefining nanoscale metrology and boosting its global market presence.
