Palletower Expands Portfolio with Leeds Acquisition

Palletower, a company specializing in storage and logistics equipment with headquarters in Sale, has announced its strategic acquisition of Alternative Storage Systems, based in Leeds. This acquisition is the latest in a series of strategic expansions within eight months, aimed at boosting Palletower’s racking and shelving division. Alternative Storage Systems, founded in 2019, is known for designing and installing shelving and racking solutions throughout the UK, most notably for warehouses and commercial units. The acquisition is expected to increase Palletower’s turnover from £40 million to £50 million and the workforce to over 70 employees. Matthew Palmer, the managing director of Palletower, emphasized that this acquisition adds strength to Palletower’s presence in the North and East of England while benefiting from Alternative Storage Systems' strong client base in warehousing and food production sectors. This acquisition aligns with their previously executed purchases, including companies such as Kingstonian Storage and Equipment Ltd, West Pennine Storage, WP Group, Astirvant, and Yorkshire Storage.
