Vlasceanu & Partners, a Romanian law firm, has assisted Turkish investor Ozkoyuncu Enerji in entering the Romanian renewable energy sector with its first solar energy project located in Arad County. Ozkoyuncu Enerji, which also operates in Turkey, aims to harness the potential of renewable energy in Romania, diversifying its portfolio and increasing its renewable energy footprint in Europe. This move signifies Ozkoyuncu Enerji’s commitment to expanding its clean energy operations globally. The Turkish company’s existing portfolio in Turkey is expected to generate over 600 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity in 2024, sufficient to provide power to approximately 250,000 households.
