Ovs Finalizes Acquisition of Goldenpoint

Ovs, a leading Venetian fashion and homeware retail group listed on the stock exchange and partly owned by Tamburi Investment Partners (TIP), is set to acquire full ownership of Goldenpoint, a renowned Mantua-based lingerie and knitwear chain. Initially owning 51% through a convertible bond of €3 million, Ovs plans to acquire the remaining 49% between August 2026 and July 2029. The acquisition is aimed at accelerating Goldenpoint’s brand relaunch and achieving synergies in the short-to-medium term, reflecting Ovs's confidence in Goldenpoint's potential to achieve profitability levels meeting or exceeding the group average. The acquisition will be entirely funded through Ovs's existing financial structure. Ovs and Goldenpoint's collaborative efforts have met expectations, with jointly developed products and store format revamps showing promising sales and appreciation. The opening of 22 new franchise stores indicates strong commercial interest. Ovs anticipates achieving sales of €50-60 million and a positive EBITDA in the second half of the fiscal year 2025, with financial debt projected to remain between €25-30 million.
