Everfield, a European long-term software investor, has announced the acquisition of OnlinePOS, Denmark's leading provider of point-of-sale (POS) solutions for the hotel, restaurant, and event industries. This acquisition marks Everfield's 30th in Europe and its first in Denmark, signaling their expansion into the Nordic market. Founded in 2008, OnlinePOS offers a modular POS platform that integrates traditional POS functionalities with advanced features including QR self-service ordering, payment management, table and back office administration, and over 30 third-party integrations. The company, headquartered in Randers, will continue to be led by co-founders Lasse Peters and Karsten Knudsen along with their team of 70 employees. Everfield's aim is to strengthen their presence in the region by leveraging OnlinePOS's strong local presence and scalable POS solutions.
