Deal News | Jun 03, 2025 | EIN

Ekinops has completed the acquisition of 100% of Olfeo's share capital, a French cybersecurity software provider. This move is expected to bolster Ekinops' position as a leading European player in the network cybersecurity market, especially in the rapidly growing segments of SSE (Security Service Edge) and SASE (Secure Access Service Edge). Olfeo, a key technology partner of Ekinops, will continue to be driven by its existing management under the leadership of founder and CEO Alexandre Souill. With 60 employees and more than 500 customers, Olfeo specializes in web security gateway products through SaaS or on-premises models. The acquisition aims to capitalize on growing industry trends and the convergence of network connectivity and cybersecurity challenges. According to Dell’Oro Group, the SASE market is expected to exceed $9 billion by 2025. With this acquisition, Ekinops plans to establish itself in the Unified SASE segment by 2026, targeting mid-sized companies and telecom operators, in a market projected to grow to over 600 million euros by 2025.
