Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp (OCBC) announced significant changes to its Global Wholesale Banking leadership, effective 1 October 2025, to strengthen its position in commercial banking and global financial institutions. Elaine Heng will succeed Linus Goh as Head of Global Commercial Banking upon his retirement on 30 September 2025. Heng, currently the Group Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer, and Tan Yuen Siang, Head of Global Financial Institutions Business, will report to Tan Teck Long, Head of Global Wholesale Banking. Under the leadership of Linus Goh, who joined OCBC in 2004, the bank significantly expanded across ASEAN and Greater China, focusing on digitalisation, ecosystems, sustainable finance, and internationalisation. Heng and Tan are expected to continue this legacy while implementing new strategies to embrace digital and sustainability goals in the region.
