Nonna Group and Aurahovi: CapMan's Strategic Expansion in Assisted Residential Care

CapMan Special Situations has announced its investment in the elderly care sector, targeting two providers, Nonna Group Oy and Aurahovi Oy, with the intention of merging them to form a leading nationwide operator in assisted residential care in Finland. The investment is the seventh for the CapMan Special Situations I fund. Nonna Group operates in four Finnish cities, while Aurahovi has units in four other locations. The combined entity will boast a network of nine housing units, offering around 500 apartments. The investment reflects a response to the increasing demand for elderly care services that bridge the gap between home care and full-time support. The merged operations aim to leverage strong regional welfare strategies and capitalize on the companies' established reputation, workforce, and customer satisfaction. CapMan, a renowned Nordic private asset management firm, aims to deliver significant growth and societal impact through this initiative.
