Nighthawk Partners with Arena Investors to Launch UK SME Lending Platform

Nighthawk Advisors LLP, a specialist growth lender, has collaborated with Arena Investors, LP, to create a new secured lending platform aimed at supporting the UK’s innovation economy. This platform will provide up to £30 million of flexible capital to UK's small and medium enterprises (SMEs), with a scope to increase funding to £60 million based on demand. Already, £5 million has been dispersed to two UK technology companies within thriving sectors, ad-tech and personalized nourishment. The partnership leverages Nighthawk's expertise in emerging growth businesses and Arena’s global reach and private credit market experience to address the increasing need for non-dilutive growth finance solutions. The venture seeks to fill the funding gap for rapidly scaling UK SMEs that are often neglected by traditional banks and venture capital. Moreover, the alignment aims to promote sustainable economic growth, skilled job creation, and retention of intellectual property within the UK. Arena Investors, holding assets of approximately $4.1 billion, provides innovative capital solutions across various investment areas, while Nighthawk focuses on finance solutions for UK and European technology SMEs. The collaboration is positioned as a critical enabler in the UK's efforts to foster innovation and strengthen its ecosystem.
