Nigel Hinchliffe joins Alvarez & Marsal as managing director

Global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has appointed Nigel Hinchliffe as a managing director in their Manchester office to bolster their gaming and betting advisory offerings in the EMEA market. With 20 years of M&A experience specializing in buy-and-sell side financial due diligence, Hinchliffe brings seasoned expertise, particularly in the B2C mergers across the gaming and betting sector. Prior to his current role, Hinchliffe had a pivotal role at KPMG’s transaction advisory team and co-led its UK betting and gaming practice. Underlining A&M’s commitment to maintaining a step ahead of market demand, the firm is integrating Nigel's strategic insights to enhance its advisory capabilities, enhancing the firm’s robust platform of industry experts and transaction advisory group skills led by Paul Aversano. Hinchliffe's expertise will further the company’s aim of becoming a leading provider in the response and insightful due diligence in the gaming sector. Additionally, in its efforts to expand the EMEA betting and gaming advisory, A&M has also appointed Adam Rivers to head the team.
