Nido Living to Acquire Livensa's 3,000-Bed Portfolio for €1.2 Billion

Nido Living, a specialized student accommodation platform, has agreed to acquire Livensa Living, an Iberian portfolio of student residences from Brookfield Asset Management, in a significant deal valued at €1.2 billion. The deal, expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2025, marks a milestone in the sector and significantly enhances Nido's presence in the Iberian Peninsula by adding 3,000 beds across ten assets in cities such as Madrid, Seville, Valencia, Lisbon, and Porto. With this acquisition, Nido's total portfolio in Europe will exceed 13,000 beds. Livensa Living, founded in 2019 as a partnership between Brookfield and Temprano Capital, has grown to become one of the largest student residence operators in Spain, managing 20 operational residences and 2 under development, totaling over 9,000 beds.
