Nextalia Completes First Closing of NFC Fund with $370M

Nextalia, an independent platform specializing in private markets within Italy, has successfully completed the first closing of its Nextalia Flexible Capital (NFC) fund. The NFC fund, aimed at investing in high-growth potential Italian SMEs, surpassingly raised over 370 million euros within three months, exceeding its target of 350 million euros. Fundraising will continue with additional interest from institutional investors. Alongside this, Nextalia launched the Nextalia Credit Solutions (NCS) fund, focused on structured finance and credit operations, with a target of 200 million euros, under the leadership of Chief Investment Officer Leonardo Adessi. Furthermore, Nextalia's capital saw growth with the Gavio and Moratti families becoming shareholders, thereby involving Francesco Vercesi and Angelomario Moratti in the Board of Directors. Additionally, Nextalia's portfolio company Regardia acquired a stake in Animal Wellness Products, and through its Nextalia Private Equity fund, Nextalia secured a controlling interest in Westrafo, a company within the renewable energy sector.
