Nest invests in IFM Investors, Advises by Travers Smith

In an effort to diversify its investment portfolio into private market assets, Nest Corporation, the trustee of the National Employment Savings Trust, has acquired a ten percent stake in Industry Super Holdings, the parent company of IFM Investors. The acquisition, advised by Travers Smith LLP, aims to support Nest's strategic goal of investing 30% of its assets under management into private markets by 2030. With this investment, Nest aims to capitalize on the significant opportunities in the UK private markets and unlock new avenues globally, leveraging IFM’s expertise and scale. Mark Fawcett, CEO of Nest Invest, emphasized Nest's international recognition within the pension industry and described this partnership with IFM as a crucial step towards achieving their investment goals.
