Mytheresa Acquisition Sealed by European Commission

The acquisition of Yoox Net-a-Porter (YNAP) by Mytheresa has received regulatory approval from the European Commission. The deal is expected to be finalized on April 23, upon the establishment of a new entity, LuxExperience. Michael Kliger will lead LuxExperience as CEO and managing director, while Francesca Tranquilli will become chief transformation officer. While Net-a-Porter and Mr. Porter will remain standalone platforms, they are set to migrate to Mytheresa's software, whereas Yoox and The Outnet will stay on their existing platforms. YNAP's CEO, Alison Loehnis, will exit the business in June, making way for Heather Kaminetsky. Additionally, Toby Bateman will return as CEO of Mr. Porter, and Mirko Nobili will become Yoox's CEO. This merger, initially proposed last October, marks a significant restructuring in the luxury e-commerce sector.
