Mike Johns Appointed as CFO Designate at Big Technologies

Hertfordshire-based Big Technologies plc has appointed Mike Johns as CFO designate and Alexander Brennan as chairman. Johns will commence his role within the month, following a five-month search. An experienced chartered accountant, Johns joins from Aptitude Software Group plc, where he has spent seven years, including 20 months as CFO. Prior to that, he worked with RSM. Brennan, who has been interim chairman since July 2024, steps into the role officially having served as an independent non-executive director since 2022. Current interim CEO and CFO Daren Morris will work closely with Johns during the transition and handover of financial responsibilities, including the completion of the 2024 audit. Despite facing a challenging year with a significant drop in its share price, Big Technologies' market cap currently stands at £221.55 million.
