TIC Holding Schweiz AG, a buy, build, and technologize platform financed by Winterberg Investment X and managed by Winterberg Advisory GmbH, has successfully acquired Metron Measurement SA, based in Quartino, Switzerland. Metron specializes in the calibration of measurement equipment across various domains, including length, force, torque, humidity, pressure, and electrical quantities. The acquisition marks the expansion of TIC Holding Schweiz's interest in the non-cyclical, high-recurring-revenue TIC (Testing, Inspection, and Certification) sector. Lorenzo Tencati, a board member of TIC Holding Schweiz, emphasized the growth potential of Metron with its strong processes and committed team. Alessandro Capone will remain as CEO of Metron, holding a significant stake in TIC Holding Schweiz, highlighting strategic growth and acquisition plans. The acquisition is part of Winterberg's strategy to explore the Swiss TIC sector while Brütsch Rüegger Tools, the initial investor in Metron, expressed confidence in the growth prospects under TIC Holding Schweiz. Winterberg's approach focuses on SME successions, utilizing buy, build, and technologize platforms.
