Metrodora Partners with Charterhouse Capital for Growth

Charterhouse Capital Partners, a venerable private equity firm in Europe, has announced its agreement to acquire Metrodora, a leading Spanish education provider, from Magnum Capital. Metrodora specializes in healthcare professional training. The deal, subject to regulatory approvals, involves Charterhouse partnering with Metrodora's founder, Jordi Roche, to propel the company's growth strategy. Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Madrid, Metrodora has already integrated 18 educational platforms and expanded into new markets across Spain and Latin America, serving over 25,000 students. Charterhouse, which has considerable experience in education and Spanish markets, aims to enhance Metrodora's growth by focusing on industry consolidation, international expansion, and business professionalization. This investment underscores Charterhouse's strategic focus in Spain, marking its third investment in the country over two years. The deal also highlights Charterhouse’s track record of identifying promising investments and working with strong management teams to execute growth plans.
