Mesirow, a Chicago-based independent and employee-owned financial services firm, has expanded its Alternative Credit team by hiring three new specialists in an effort to enhance its offerings to institutional and high-net-worth investors. This follows Mesirow's acquisition of Bastion Management in December 2024, a prominent asset-backed lender. The new hires are Nicholas Paidas, who joins as Director, Capital Markets and Sourcing with experience from Yieldstreet and Mission Capital Advisors; Servia Rindfleish, appointed as Client Portfolio Manager with 14 years of investment management experience; and Bryce Labonski, joining as an Associate in Asset Management. These strategic additions aim to bolster Mesirow's capabilities in deal origination, structuring, strategic partnerships, and client relationship management. Led by Jay Braden, CEO and Co-Chief Investment Officer, the team remains committed to providing innovative financial solutions across North America and the UK. As of the end of 2024, Mesirow reported $306.2 billion in assets under supervision.
