Menara Capital Forms Joint Venture in Green Energy Investments

Menara Capital, a UK-based investment firm known for direct lending and private equity investments, has partnered with Green Stone Sicaf to form a strategic joint venture focusing on green and renewable energy sectors. The collaboration aims to accelerate the transition to a sustainable and low-carbon economy, particularly targeting the photovoltaic sector, battery energy storage systems, and biogas plants. Initially, 125 million euros will be invested, aiming for around 600 MW in the photovoltaic sector. The partnership plans initial acquisitions totaling 114.4 MW across regions in Italy, including Puglia, Sicily, Lazio, and Piemonte, serving as a launchpad for broader expansion over the next two years. This venture supports the EU's ambitious energy transition goals and Italy's energy independence, aligning with Menara Capital's history of innovation and long-term value creation. The partnership is expected to play a significant role in making Italy a leader in the renewable energy sector by focusing on key technologies like solar, biogas, and energy storage.
