Medi Assist Secures Paramount Acquisition, Eyes Growth Surge

Medi Assist TPA, an arm of Medi Assist Healthcare Services, has successfully completed the acquisition of Paramount Health Services & Insurance TPA, thereby securing its position as India’s prominent health benefits administrator. This acquisition is projected to bring Rs. 4,000 crores of health premiums under administration to Medi Assist, while also providing broader access to provider networks and creating operational efficiencies. With the aid of artificial intelligence and machine learning, Medi Assist is confident that it can elevate the service experience for policyholders, particularly through enhanced fraud detection, automated claims processing, and predictive analytics. Both entities will retain their independent operations until the merger process is formalized to ensure smooth business continuity. As stated by CEO Satish Gidugu, this acquisition is poised to mark a pivotal moment in the company's mission to democratize access to quality healthcare while leveraging Paramount's industry expertise.
