Mathieson Resumes CEO Role at Investment Evolution Credit

In a surprising turn of events, Paul Mathieson, the founder of Investment Evolution Credit plc (IEC), has resumed his position as CEO merely two months after retiring. He steps in to replace Richard Leaver, who has resigned from the company. Leaver, a seasoned corporate consultant and AI advocate, had been appointed CEO only a month prior. Before Leaver, Marc Howells briefly held the position after joining five months ago. Mathieson, who also previously chaired IEC, will guide the company through its next phase as it navigates the fintech sector. Along with this executive shuffle, CFO Bob Mennie has been succeeded by Glendys Aguilera. Neil Patrick remains the non-executive chairman. Notably, the planned appointment of John Philip de Blocq van Kuffeler as executive chairman has not yet been realized.
