Marsh, a global insurance broker, has acquired Fontana Rava-Toscano & Partners (FRT), a Milan-based insurance brokerage firm, as part of its expansion strategy in Italy. FRT, established in 1992, specializes in property, casualty, and risk consulting services for middle-market organizations across industries such as industrial, manufacturing, financial institutions, and aviation. Post-acquisition, FRT will operate under the name Marsh FRT, with its partners continuing to lead efforts to expand services to middle-market clients in coordination with Marsh McLennan's other businesses. The acquisition aims to enhance Marsh's expertise in Italy, offering clients a wider array of solutions while integrating FRT’s specialist capabilities.
