MA Specialty Credit Income Fund Quick Surge to $100mm AUM Milestone

MA Financial Group Limited, a global alternative asset manager listed on the ASX, has announced that its North American MA Specialty Credit Income Fund has crossed the $100 million mark in assets under management (AUM). The fund, effective since December 17, 2024, with an initial AUM of $71 million, provides investors with access to directly originated, income-generating assets. This growth reflects a rising interest in private credit and assets that compensate for traditional direct lending exposures. The MA Specialty Credit Income Fund targets diverse finance opportunities such as insurance premium finance and asset-backed lending tailored for various market segments. It recently made its presence felt in the RIA community, with flexibility offered through its interval fund structure featuring daily pricing and regular liquidity. The fund pivots on its strategy to make lesser-liquid, high-yield investments available to all investor types. MA's Head of US Asset Management, JP Marra, highlighted investor confidence as a key motive for launching this interval fund in the marketplace. Despite being relatively nascent, this fund operates under significant risk disclosures and appreciates its investors' high-level risk tolerance. Notably, the fund is available via the Fidelity platform.
