LYVA Labs has marked a milestone by making seven separate investments in a single month, with a total funding of £305,000 distributed among health tech and deep tech companies. The investments include HealthTech enterprises like Vizbox, aimed at innovating stroke rehabilitation through VR, and Good Vibrations, which focuses on creating supportive insoles for children with autism. LYVA Labs, boosted by £11 million from the Liverpool City Regions Combined Authority, seeks to drive innovation and growth by empowering new technologies tackling real-world challenges. Vizbox, located in Birkenhead, has successfully tested its virtual reality tool SKYLA VR at the University of Liverpool, showing promising results in personalized stroke rehabilitation by enhancing motor skills and improving well-being. Another recipient, Good Vibrations from Liverpool City Region, has developed an innovative solution for children with tiptoe walking due to autism. Through initial testing, this product has demonstrated reliable improvement results.
