Renewable energy company Low Carbon has signed a balancing agreement with energy trading company Danske Commodities for the Feldon Vale Solar Farm project in the UK. The agreement will see Danske provide market access and balancing for Feldon's 49.9 MW capacity, capable of powering over 16,500 households. This is part of Low Carbon's strategy to optimize and expand its renewable energy portfolio. Danske Commodities, active in the UK since 2009, views this partnership as essential for expanding its British power portfolio, which includes various forms of renewable energy. This agreement is also aligned with the UK's target to reach net-zero emissions by 2050.
