Logic Group Acquired by Investindustrial for Aerospace Expansion

Investindustrial, through its Global Aerospace Technologies Investments managed by Investindustrial Growth III SCSp, has acquired the majority stake in Logic Group, a leading company in the development and production of advanced electronic systems for the aerospace industry. The existing shareholders will retain a minority interest in the company, which will continue to be led by Alessandro Franzoni and the current management team. Logic, founded in 1962 and based in Cassina de' Pecchi, Milan, is a leader in avionics and electronic systems, serving major international fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft manufacturers and participating in major European space programs. The company employs over 270 staff across three facilities in Italy. Investindustrial aims to accelerate Logic's growth both organically and through targeted acquisitions. The chairman of Investindustrial's advisory board expressed enthusiasm for Logic's market leader status and its strong client relationships, highlighting the potential for a successful buy-and-build strategy through complementary acquisitions.
