Liquid8 Nets Pre-Seed Funding to Transform E-commerce Returns

Liquid8, an Indonesia-based recommerce startup, has garnered pre-seed funding from SPIL Ventures, the venture capital division of PT Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines. This marks Liquid8's inaugural external funding since its 2023 inception by founders Mike Roosevelt and Niko Abdulrachman. Liquid8 addresses inefficiencies within the country's e-commerce logistics, notably the high rate of non-delivered shipments, largely due to COD payment issues in lower-tier cities. The startup recuperates undelivered and returned goods from online platforms, reselling them to generate revenue, mitigate losses for e-commerce platforms, and promote sustainability by minimizing waste.
