LinePack Oy Acquired by Duni Group in Strategic Packaging Deal

Duni Group, based in Malmö, Sweden, has acquired an 80% majority stake in Finland's LinePack Oy, a company known for its expertise in automated packaging solutions for the food industry. This acquisition aims to bolster Duni Group's Food Packaging Solutions segment, specifically its Duniform brand, by integrating advanced technology and tapping into local expertise in Finland. With LinePack Oy, which has built a strong market position through technical proficiency and strong customer relationships, Duni Group will extend its reach in the Nordic market, effectively doubling its revenue from food packaging in Finland. The acquisition provides LinePack Oy access to Duni's expansive network and resources, promising accelerated growth and enhanced customer value. LinePack intends to leverage its combined strengths with Duni to innovate next-generation packaging solutions. The company, employing six people, reports an annual turnover of EUR 2 million. Duni officials, including Nicklas Lauwell and Sami Mäenpää, expressed optimism about the growth and development opportunities that will ensue from this acquisition.
