Lilac-Centro DCA, a digital health tech startup based in Bari, Italy, has completed a €693,000 funding round to enhance its services for treating eating disorders like anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating. The funding, consisting of a €560,000 follow-on investment and a €133,000 SAFE conversion, was led by CDP Venture Capital's Personae program and SocialFare Seed, with additional participation from Sullivan Venture, Generaimprese, Milano Venture, and strategic input from digital marketing expert Marta Basso and business angel Sergio Liscia. Founded in 2023 by Giuseppe Magistrale and Filippo Perotto, Lilac-Centro DCA aims to offer a multidisciplinary approach combining psychological and nutritional support with advanced technology. The newly acquired capital will support national expansion, increase access to care, expand the professional network, and develop their AI-driven platform. This endeavor aims to bridge the gap for the over 3 million Italians affected by eating disorders.
