Lexitas Achieves Milestone with RASi Sale to Wolters Kluwer

Lexitas, known for its legal technology services and part of the Apax Partners LLP portfolio, announced the acquisition of its Registered Agent and Corporate Services division, Registered Agent Solutions Inc. (RASi), by Wolters Kluwer Financial & Corporate Compliance (FCC) for around $415 million in cash. The deal is set to finalize following regulatory approval in the upcoming months. Since Lexitas’ acquisition of RASi four years prior, it has established RASi as a leader in the small and medium business sector, enhancing service delivery with advanced technology. The acquisition by Wolters Kluwer is expected to enhance the services available to RASi’s clients by integrating Wolters Kluwer’s superior corporate compliance solutions, thus enhancing the customer experience for small and midsize businesses. Wolters Kluwer, a major global player in information and software solutions, serves clients across 180 countries. This strategic acquisition is anticipated to bolster Lexitas’ commitment to its core legal service pursuits while enhancing its focus on national-scale legal support services.
