Leadec Completes Acquisition of Servycat in Spain

Leadec, a leading global provider of industrial services, has announced the acquisition of Manteniments Industrials Servycat 2017, S.L.U. and Electro Servycat, S.L. effective January 2, 2025. This strategic acquisition enhances Leadec’s technical capabilities and customer base in the Spanish food industry. Servycat, founded in 2007 and based in Vic near Barcelona, specializes in maintenance, mechanical and electrical installations, and metal work for industrial clients, with a strong emphasis on the food sector. This move supports Leadec's growing operations in Spain, which began in early 2024 with a significant integrated facility management contract for a major international client. The acquisition leverages Leadec's comprehensive service portfolio, positioning them for expansion in Catalonia, one of Spain's key industrial regions. The Servycat team, comprising 330 employees, joins Leadec to enhance service delivery through synergies across the group, including technical cleaning and facility management solutions. Leadec, headquartered in Stuttgart, employs over 23,000 people globally and operates at more than 350 locations. This acquisition marks a significant step in Leadec's growth strategy, reinforcing its commitment to providing innovative solutions and high-value services to industry partners worldwide.
