Lancaster Expands Footprint in Quebec with Lac Iris Acquisition

Lancaster Resources Inc., a Canadian exploration company, announced its acquisition of a 100% interest in the Lac Iris Polymetallic Project in the mining-rich James Bay area of Quebec. The Lac Iris project, spanning 1,443 hectares, is strategically located near other major mineral projects like the NISK and Whabouchi mines. This acquisition expands Lancaster's landholdings in Quebec and complements its existing Trans-Taiga Project. The move aims to capitalize on the potential for lithium and polymetallic findings in the region. Under the guidance of Andrew Watson, President and CEO, Lancaster Resources plans to initiate an exploration program to map and evaluate high-value metals on the Lac Iris site. The strategic acquisition reflects Lancaster's broader strategy to diversify its exploration project portfolio, which includes uranium and gold projects in Saskatchewan and New South Wales, Australia.
