Khalfan Al Salami Appointed Country Manager for Kuwait and Iraq at Emirates

Emirates has announced the appointment of Khalfan Al Salami as the new Country Manager for Kuwait and Iraq. This appointment is part of recent strategic commercial appointments by the airline to strengthen its business and commercial strategy in key markets across the Middle East and Africa. Khalfan will be based at the Kuwait office, overseeing operations in both countries. With nearly a decade of experience with Emirates, including previous roles in Morocco, Mauritania, and Kuwait, Khalfan is poised to leverage his expertise in enhancing the airline's operations and market presence. Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates, expressed confidence in these appointments, emphasizing the integral role of long-serving commercial managers in supporting Emirates' global operations. Emirates, which has a long-standing history in Kuwait with current operations of three daily flights, also operates in Iraq through Basra and Baghdad.
