Kazam Teams Up with Yuma to Revolutionize Battery Swapping in India

Kazam, a prominent EV charging solutions provider in India, has entered into a strategic partnership with Yuma Energy, a joint venture between Magna International and Yulu Bikes. This collaboration aims to introduce Yuma's battery-swapping technology into Kazam's Park & Charge hubs nationwide, providing a quick, efficient solution for commercial EV drivers to replace depleted batteries. The initiative, launched at Mahadevapura Park & Charge in Bangalore, seeks to enhance the convenience of EV charging across the country. Currently, Kazam operates 60 Park & Charge hubs in 10 states and manages another 200 hubs in partnership with major brands, enhancing the charging capabilities for a majority of two- and three-wheeler drivers in India's e-commerce and logistics sectors. Yuma Energy, known for its Battery-as-a-Service solutions, operates a highly reliable battery swapping network with significant uptime and quick swap times. The partnership leverages the strengths of both entities to expand the infrastructure necessary for promoting EV adoption.
