Kazam Secures $6.2 Million in Series B Funding

Kazam, an India-based EV energy-tech company, has successfully raised $6.2 million in its Series B funding round from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and existing investors Vertex Ventures SEA & India and Avaana Capital Advisors. The funding aims to accelerate Kazam's expansion across new markets and enhance the adoption of sustainable mobility solutions. As part of its mission to build scalable digital infrastructure for electric vehicles (EVs), Kazam is pivotal in supporting the global transition towards clean mobility. The new investment brings Kazam's total capital raised to $19.2 million. With support from IFC, Kazam plans to improve the electric mobility ecosystem, expand charging infrastructure, and reinforce clean transportation across India and beyond. Forthcoming financial goals include growing revenue to $12 million in the fiscal year 2025 and achieving EBITDA positivity.
