Karo Healthcare transitions ownership from EQT to KKR

Global law firm White & Case LLP has provided advisory services to EQT, a leading global investment firm, on the sale of its portfolio company Karo Healthcare to KKR. EQT, an investment organization managing $269 billion in assets across private capital and real assets, has been a key player in Karo's transformation since EQT's initial investment in 2019. Under EQT's stewardship, Karo has transformed from a Nordics-focused specialty pharmaceutical organization into a leading pan-European consumer healthcare platform. Presenting strong operational growth, Karo generated around $530 million in revenue in 2024 and engages consumers in over 90 markets through its digital platform. The advising team from White & Case, led by several key partners and associates across their international offices, facilitated the strategic transaction, marking a significant portfolio shift for EQT.
