Kamau Coar Joins West Monroe as General Counsel

West Monroe, a global business and technology consulting firm based in Chicago, has announced the appointment of Kamau Coar as their new General Counsel. Coar brings a wealth of expertise in employment law, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, international business, and corporate governance. In his role, he will manage the firm's legal and compliance divisions, oversee corporate governance, regulatory matters, trademarks, and intellectual property. He is responsible for developing policies that align with the firm's expansion goals, ensuring compliance, and protecting the firm's interests. Coar will also act as the board secretary, crucially supporting the board’s governance.
