Juwi Sells Solar Portfolio to Kelag Italia

Juwi Energie Rinnovabili S.r.l., part of the German multinational Juwi GmbH, has completed a transaction involving the sale of a photovoltaic project portfolio to Kelag Italia S.r.l., an Italian renewable energy producer. Kelag Italia is under the control of Austria's leading utility firm, Kelag Group. This transfer includes eight authorized and ready-to-build projects located in Northern Italy with a total installed capacity of approximately 50.5 MW. Legal firm Dentons assisted Juwi in all legal, administrative, and regulatory aspects with a multidisciplinary team led by partners Mileto Mario Giuliani and Antonio Legrottaglie. Meanwhile, Kelag's legal interests were managed by ADVANT Nctm, led by Piero Vigan with specialists on M&A, corporate, regulatory, and administrative matters. The deal marks a substantial advancement in Kelag's renewable energy investments in Italy.
